As a 40yr black man, surfing is the last thing I thought I would get into. But ever since I've committed to this journey, I've just been given endless gifts to my mental and physical health. Also, in the midst of a crazy world, surfing is there to ground me and bring me joy despite what's happening around me. That's why I love to surf - it's a cheatcode for living a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.
